Hiya,

Sorry to dim but I really need to get some cheap ink for my canon mp170, ( the ink runs out well quick, only got one the other day)...so please if you know any online sellers that sell ink for cheap, please let me know..

Sounds like you may have been buying the low yield cartridges:

PG40 black contains 14ml of ink & CL-41 contains just 4ml (divided by three colours). Look for the high capacity cartridges

PG-50 contains 22ml of black ink and CL-51 contains 7 ml (again divided by three).

You can get refilled cartridges which contain 16ml of Black and 12ml of colour. These will be the big money savers because 1. they are cheaper than the originals and 2. Contain much more ink.

Get rid and get a printer that uses cli-8 inks easy to refill for less than a quid.
