Hi All
I have a vague memory of reading a news article relating to ScotRail offering a 5% discount to 2008 season ticket holders as compensation for the rubbish service in 2007.
Can anyone help with any further information or did I just dream this?
Season ticket: Edinburgh-Glasgow = £2852 ( £100 more than last year...ouch!)

No, you didn't dream it, but that's what it is now.
I have used Scotrail for about 4 years now (season ticket). They used to offer discount due to their tardiness, however, don't offer this any more.
The trains are better than they used to be believe it or not, what gets me, is they probably base their reliability data on the electronic guides at a station, I can't count the amount of times the guide says 'train arrived' and it takes another 5 minutes to actually do that!
Scotrail have forced myself and my partner to buy a car and drive, it's cheaper in the long run for us. Ridiculous.0
