RBS staff pension

Hi all.
I am trying to get some up to date info on a frozen 14 year staff pension I have, when I worked for NatWest, many moons ago. The correspondence I have is three years old, says Royal Bank of Scotland Group Pension Fund at the top of the letter and an address in Croydon, but no phone number. Would anyone know of a phone number as I have tried googling but to no avail.
Many thanks.

Try phoning a NatWest branch or call centre. They helped me last time I had a similar question (can't help you myself as all my paperwork is at home and I'm in work right now)Gwlad heb iaith, gwlad heb galon0

Hi Lou,
Try the Goup Pension Services team on 0808 100 4242 or email pensionqueries@rbs.co.uk .
Having done some digging theres no mention of a department for frozen pensions so i'd give these guys a try.
Hope this helps

Thank you. Got the info I needed, had NO idea NatWest paid all the contributions and I didn't have to pay any. Yes, I know, I was rubbish with money at that age, didn't even notice....:o Bloke on the phone said it was a rare pension plan indeed. Thats when NatWest was good to work for.A cloudy day is no match for a sunny disposition~ William Arthur Ward ~0

Thats excellent news Lou!
Glad you got it sorted, I still work for em mores the pity, little chance of me leaving as I got in 1 month before they scrapped that pension scheme and its worth its weight in gold! When you get to the end of your tether, tie a knot and hang on.0 -
Hi I have just read your blog where you mentioned your Natwest pension. I worked for the bank for 6 years. I contacted the pensions department to be told i had to be over 26 to be included in the scheme. Can anyone out there verify this? From my recollection i was told i WAS included. HELPPPPP!0

I have just started working for Natwest this week and my pension stuff is all sorted and I'm only 19. Don't know why they did'nt let you have it0

Sorry for slight change of subject, but my friend tells me her RBS pension pays out 100% to her spouse if she dies. Can this be possible?0

I have a deferred fs pension from RBS and I believe that if I die before it begins my wife receives whatever it is valued at in a lump sum (better not tell her that.....) and if I die after it begins I think she continues to receive 60% of it.0

I was also told i have no pension entitlement. I was 25 and had worked for the bank for 7/8 years. I even completed a form in respect of my 'Guaranteed minimum pension rights'. What a joke!0
