Your post title seems a little misleading, being as the text/link does not mention withdrawing cash abroad...only buying currency/travellers cheques before you travel.Francophile wrote: »Anybody see any catches?0 -
The exchange rate given.Francophile wrote: »Anybody see any catches?0 -
Sorry that didn't copy very well from the email. The following is from their site. I searched the site for the exchange rate and can't find it. Do you know what it is King of Fools?
- 0% Commission on all foreign currency and foreign currency travellers cheques
- For every £250 of foreign currency or foreign travellers cheques you buy in store, we'll give you 25 Clubcard points¹
- Competitive exchange rates
- Pay with your Tesco Credit Card and there is no Cash Advance fee! - This offer is not available to Tesco Business Credit Card customers
- We'll buy back any unused foreign notes and travellers cheques commission-free - no matter where you bought them!
- We're open Monday to Friday 9am-8pm, Saturday 9am-6pm, Sunday 10.30am-4pm

There might not be a cash advance fee but I'm pretty sure that you will incur interest on the amount withdrawn immediately.0

I also think this will be the case. Same deal as with Abbey Zero card.0 -
This just seems to be Tesco trying to sell their foreign exchange service rather than trying to match Abbey Zero.0
