:rotfl: Off topic, sorry, but I had to comment! ONW, I've seen some pretty straight speaking posts from you, but I never had you down as someone who would say something like that! Not sure why I thought that though ...
OP - it does seem as though working is your best option right now. I agree with melancholly too - be careful as you may be asked to pay some of your student finance back.
In the meantime, you could try begging HSBC to give you a few months grace? Or keep quiet but, as said, it's against the T&Cs so if they found out, you could be asked to pay it straight back.
Does you bf work? I'm wondering why you don't just stay where you are and get some work and security? That has got to be better than going elsewhere and trying to get a temporary job imo.0 -

Sorry, some people just make you want to swear. I'd edit it but not much point now you've quoted me!:p0 -
Oldernotwiser - I have told you I have a job at the uni town and I'm looking for a temp job at the moment.
I dont understand why I need to be spoken to like that for asking a simple question.
I thought that asking for advice would be the responsible thing to do.
But obviously for some reason some people cant just be helpful and have to put other people down and act all high and mighty.
I obviously made a mistake thinking I could ask a question and get a helpful respectful response.
I wont be posting on here again.0 -

It is a shame that you won't be posting again (although most people that say that usually do!), but I do agree with everything that Onw has said.
Nevermind, if you don't want to post again ...  :wave:Gone ... or have I?0 -

Know what you mean, but you did make me laugh! :rotfl:
It's funny how we build a picture of people without ever knowing or meeting them isn't it?
razorblade-sky - there is lots of sensible advice on here and sometimes you won't like what other posters say, but that doesn't make it wrong, it just means you disagree with it! Your choice to leave though, of course.0 -

there is no easy solution to your situation - that's the hard fact you need to deal with. getting a new bank account is not going to fix it. you need to take that on board as soon as possible, and not react so defensively to the advice. you can act now and sort this out, or stick your head back in the sand and end up with a wrecked credit history that will make life difficult for you in the future.
this is well meant advice - it is intended to be helpful, but sugar coating it isn't going to make it any better!:happyhear0
