External Hard Drive

Beware of cheap hard drive caddies! I bought a (supposedly) aluminium caddy on eBay with a built-in 80mm fan. It killed my hard drive and I burnt (and lacerated) myself on the case when I opened it.0

I would not buy the caddies even tho they are cheaper. The one I had broke after about month there are lots of cheap prices on external hard drive at the moment.
This is the one I plan on buying soon

The 2.5" ones are more expensive, but more portable. They generally don't need external power and are powered from the usb port you plug them into.0 -
