Right, update for ya.
After much grobelling through paperwork, and trawling through statements, I worked out that if I cut down our grocery shopping to £250 a month (?) and limit Husbands tobacco to £80 per month (shouldn't even be that hopefully) then we have £100 to pay off whatever bill we like!
I've made phone calls, and I've cut a bit off my internet bill (now £13 for the next three months and then £17 after that. Not saving much, but it's a bonus)
I did have an idea though. This new budget takes into account christmas spending and that sort of thing. What about if I took the money I need for direct debits etc etc, put that to one side, and put the rest of it into the CC? Then budget as much as I can. What I'm talking about is shoving the cigarette money etc and grocery money in there, then cutting down as much as possible. This should help with interest repayments, and it's already paying off the card if it doesn't get spent? What do you think?
I should add at this point that my hub has handed me the cards to do with as I will!Proud to be dealing with my debts :T

Can you get hubby to try and quit smoking too?

I'm working on it! He used to smoke 20 a day (at 4.60ish a box) and this week all he has smoked, is a 25g pouch of tobacco, since monday, of which there is some left, so he's spent only a fiver this week so far. He's off work this weekend, so is going to try to stop totally then.
Now to work a menu out and cost it!
Daresay I'm going to have to 'tighten up' on what we spend, and change the way we eat, but I'm overweight so that will probably be for the better LOL.
No more chinese, that's for sure.Proud to be dealing with my debts :T
