I love my neighbours. We have a 96 year old lady on one side. She has always been lovely to the kids and to my other neighbours kids who are older than me and still call her Aunty. My other neighbour is a widow with 2 daughters at home and a married son.She is so friendly and for years has looked after our pets when we go on holiday.
There are several other really nice people who live in our road. One is teaching my OH welding in return for some vehicle manuals OH had spare. We are very lucky in where we live ,I think!0 -
My neighbours are lovely too, they always have my kids to play in the afternoons and we swap food every week. She cooks lovely indian food and always gives me bits to try - yum yum. And she always gives me radishes too, they only use the leaves so I get the bulbs for salad - bonus. Hope they neighbours at the new place are as nice.WW Start Weight 18/04/12 = 19st 11lbsWeight today = 17st 6.5lbsLoss to date 32.5lbs!!!0

My neighbour looks after my house when I go away, which can be often. I feel so much better when I know there is someone keeping an eye on the place.£2 Coins Savings Club 2012 is £4

My neighbours are great to .On the one side is a lady who gives me apples off her tree, and puts up with my 2yr old DS when he sometimes has screaming fits. The other one is the best in the world, as she's my mum. Dont know what I'd do without her.A woman is like a tea bag. You never know how strong she is until she gets into hot water.:D0

Wow, aren't we all lucky! I think it's nice to know that people will help you out, and although it may not be easy to accept help sometimes it's a lifesaver (or, in my case, moneysaver!)
Gingham, I've been following your weightloss, you are doing SO well!
