What’s the deal?
This Thursday 12 June 2008 , eBay is having a 5p Listing Day, so it's a great time to dejunk those cupboards.
What’s included?
The offer’s valid on Auction-style, Auction-with-Buy It Now or Buy It Now Only (Fixed Price) auctions. See full T&Cs
How much will I pay?
While it only costs 5p to list your item, you’ll still have to pay a sale charge if someone buys it. This is a percentage of the auction’s closing price.
Find out how to smash the cost of fees in the Ebay Selling Tricks article.
How to make the biggest savings.
It’s worth remembering you don't pay a sale charge if your item doesn’t sell; so if no one buys it you’ll only lose 5p.
Also normally, the more expensive your item, the more expensive the listing fee. For instance items priced under 99p cost only £15p to list, whereas items over £100 cost £2. So the biggest savings are on items with a high buy-it-now price of £100. Though you’ll still save a bundle if you’re listing lots of small items.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but as I said in another thread, they tend to do them the same time every year, and last year they had one on Thursday June 14th, in which case expect another one on July 14th (although that one last year was because of the postal strike, so may not happen)..0 -

It is only 2 weeks (29th May) since they had the last one, so I agree they must be doing badly.0 -
