Working from home today so saving on petrol! If I DO have to go out to the office I'll go to one that's a bit closer to home and ironically I can claim travel allowance on... hey if they're gonna pay me to go there then it's daft going to the other office if I'm not needed there right?
Will take pictures of stuf to list on Ebay - mainly Make Up and some undies I think...
Must also walk dog before it gets too hot... hmmm or later in the afternoon when cooling down again...
Oh yeah and have to do some work... boo hiss!

    Morning everyone.

Had a look at the pics from Saturday - looks like it was a great afternoon. Sorry I didn't make it. I have no proper excuse - I'm cr*p, pathetic and really p1ssed off with myself:mad:

Didn't have a great weekend, not having a great start to the week and hoping this particular black cloud I'm carrying will burger off soon:mad:

    Hi all,

oh why am i working today, where did the weekend go!? Bleeding gorgeous out there, and i don't even get the sun in my window past half ten.

Lucifa, we did wonder where you were on saturday, you should've come. It was ace, very informal.... you'd have enjoyed it! Sorry to hear you're feeling blue, anything it would help to share?

I'm happy money wise today, as i have gotten some life insurance £5 a month from Sainsburys, with £80 cashback tracking! And Big G got up at half twelve last night, to inform me that his car insurance ran out today! so a quick compare the market, followed by a quick quidco into morethan insurance saved him over £100 on his broker premiums, with instant cover, at almost 1am!

and i get to keep the quidco, call it a brokers fee he said!! Whey hey another £65, but not tracking yet....

My quidco for the year is looking rather healthy!
I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....

    Morning...

I've had a fantastic weekend so far... went to skipton castle yesterday with Wayne and just enjoyed the glorious weather though we have decided to treat ourselves to a sat-nav for when we go to Scotland in February. Wayne was map reading and we ended up going 40 miles out of our way because he's so carp at it! Heading to Scotland, I'm sure he'd direct us to Wales or even Cornwall...

Anyhow, Wayne is on an alcohol free challenge this week. I was so mad with him on Saturday cos I found out he'd used my card to withdraw money to buy cigarettes and alcohol. I told him he could either drink or smoke but he obviously couldn't afford to do both and if he EVER took money from my account or purse I'd chop his hands off and shove them where the sun don't shine:mad:

Lunch today is a healthy quorn salad - I'll be so pished off if I haven't lost any weight at fat class tonight but my excuse is that I'm still waiting for the results of my biopsies so I'm all at sixes and sevens where the diet is concerned:o

Lucifa - hope you feel better soon
Maz - result on the quidco (though Big G wants shooting for leaving it so late!!!, and sorting it out at 1am for him of course you deserve the cashback for it!

Hope everyone has a good day.

Having a nice relaxing time in the garden . Now we have our picnic bench thing I've actually got somewhere to sit while the kids play. I made the mistake of putting water in their little water/sand table thing and now they're both drenched! Oh well. At least it'll cool them down!

  • Afternoon everyone.

Lots of sun here today, and a little spot of news. Meeting the BF's parents tonight; he is throwing a BBQ for some friends and some family, I think it means I have to be on my best behaviour :(
