Someone I know was at a footie match, missiles were being thrown and this person went and told the police. A few days later HE was arrested and charged! Bailed, fortunately, but very worrying all the same. It dragged on for quite a few weeks before he was called into the police station, by this time a photo had been pulled off the CCTV and the offending missile thrower was quite obviously someone who looked completely different!wazza wrote:will keep you informed of any outcomeSignature removed for peace of mind0 -

Sorry if that isn't what you wanted to hear, but people do tend to lie, when serious crimes have been committed, to avoid prosecution0 -
NAR - i know what you mean. I have known my friend's son since he was born. He isn't that type of guy who creates trouble then again in the heat of the moment....
Friend will see if he can get bail in the coming week. if not then she will have to inform the benefit agency and see what happens.Problem with having access to internet is that i get asked by many to solve their problemsWell at least i learn something on the way

Sorry but, being realistic, bail is not opposed by the police without good reason. Also kids don't want to look bad to parents that have done so much for them, and will lie to protect that relationship.
I have sat on juries and seen such situations unravel.0 -
If a disabled person is in prison and cannot do a prison job does that mean they don't earn money to buy things like other prisoners... or just receive a basic allowance like those that choose not to work?
If that's the case I think it's a little unfair that disability benefits are taken away completely... having said that... probably best not to break the law.0
