Evening - just wondering whether people are counting the £150 Paintball "win" in their "£2008 in 2008" challenge total?

    why not?
if you win a ps3 you need to buy games or films to use it
if you win a car you need to buy petrol to use it?
if you win this you need to buy paint to use it

    whats the difference?

i dont think its as bad as everyone's saying
i won one of these in february, a group of us went in march, it was really fun and we did save a fair bit of money as opposed to if we had gone without the voucher
so no, it may not be completely free, but it is a discount! so if you were thinking of going anyway, its worth using it
i was stealthy and didnt get through my paint quickly so it only cost me £18 for mine :)

It's just that some people seem to be counting it, others say they won't, so I was wondering what the general consensus is.

    That's all.

I don't think I'm going to bother. No use to me whatsoever so just binned it.

I think you should count it, if you can use it and if it is just going in the bin, don't use it. I did this with the Esprit promotion, I 'won' a £5 voucher but didn't make a purchase so didn't use the voucher, therefore I didn't count it in my total. My DH has been wanting to go paintballing for some time so this is something we can genuinely use and make a saving, so I will count it.

I didn't count it becuase it's a marketing promotion really - I've now "won" it 4 times! However, it's your personal choice really!

I've had a couple of these also and not counted them, they must print them by the truck-load I think.

A huge thank you to all who post the comps and deals that make life so much fun!

I agree, I'm counting it cause I've spoke to my DS and he say's it will make it cheaper for him and his friends next time they go.
So I guess it a case of if you go or want to go paintballing then it's a saving, if you wouldn't normally go paintballing then it's an expensive day out.
