After todays hot weather i really want to buy a pop up sun shelter for my baby. i already have a one but i want one that is more open so that baby is not just stuck in a tent if you know what i mean. i have been looking on ebay but was wondering what is best. don't want anything huge, just something that covers baby when at the park, etc that he can lay under. Anyone got any advice? thanks

I bought one from Argos last week, although not really had any sun in which to try it out!!

They have a gazebo style one too but i like this as it's pop-up.0 -
thanks Squashy - what size is it packed away? Would it fit in a basket under a buggy, or does it have a handle that would hang over a buggy handle?SAHM Mummy tods (born Oct 2007) and dd (born June 2010)0

It folds flat into a little circular bag that has a handle so can go over the handle of the pushchair or inside a picnic bag. It is about 18 inches across when flat I would say.0

Have up ever tried to get one of these little tents back in the bag? They are so simple to get out and pop up but it's like a big wrestle trying to push them back in!!!

Hee hee, I like it.
Rather stupidly, I have been thinking about getting a proper pop up tent for camping in for a night or 2. We have a caravan but I have my driving test in a couple of days and if I pass I want to be able to take the boys away for a night or 2 while their Dad is working. Not very techical minded so I think a pop up tent looks good.
My only problem will be the lack of OH to put it down again, may be a case of chucking it in the boot of the car and putting loads of stuff on it until we get home!

I had one of the small tents from argos before. great for taking abroad and not too bad to pack away but not i wanted something where the person seeking shade isn't hidden away. i have just bought a jacshade one from argos for 19.99 - it is quite big so not great but it folds up reasonably small.now mum of 4!!!0

this one? http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/3671120/Trail/searchtext>SUN+TENT.htm
It is now half price?:o
I don't know which to get. I like this because it is more open but the front panels seem really long. I dunno if you have to peg them out like that to keep it up?
I need it for a baby friendly festival type thing we are going to - I will need some shade for the baby but don't want to look an idiot putting a 2 man sized tent up??! The smaller the better.SAHM Mummy tods (born Oct 2007) and dd (born June 2010)0
