DISHWASHER. How to choose........

My dishwasher, which came with the house several years ago, has died. RIP.

So, I thought I would do, you know, Kelkoo on dishwashers.

There are thousands to choose from.

And many, many brands. I sort of remember tripping over a thread here ages ago about some brands being the same as others apart from the labels.

Anyway, I do want a new wishwash that will be reliable and keep on doing its job for a few years.

What can you guys recommend please? I am drowning in too many choices!

We got a Miele as it was on offer and not much more than some of the other brands at the time. Also managed to get it on interest free and the Euronics shop price matched the cheapest internet price for me.
