Firefox Download Problems

Hi there,

I have tried to install Firefox this evening, but after I went through the downloading procedure an error mesaage appears when I go to use the browser.

Th error message is as follows

"The proxy server you have configured can not be recognised. Please check your proxy settings and try again."

I previously used Expolorer and use eseven as my broad band provider.

Can anyone shed any light as to what I should be doing?

Thanks in advance of your advice.

  • In Firefox, Tools - Options - General - Connection Settings. Try Direct connection to the Internet.

Tools -> Options -> General -> Connection Settings - you'll need to put the proxy settings that are present in IE in that section in FF. same time post there chippy :)
