Hi
I bought a sony digital camera last year and although I've searched the house (n garage) hi and low, I've lost my cables and software to load on to my pc.
Is there any otherway I can load the pics from camera to PC? The chip is a sandisk ultra and I've got a Memory stick duo adaptor which it slots into- but I don't seem to have any sockets the same size on my pc or laptop.
Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks
Terri

Just get a USB card reader.

The cables are standard and you should be able to download any software required.
I need a new one myself as my old one will not read SDHC, just make sure the one you buy reads your card.0 -
You wont need special software as Windows should open the camera/scanner wizard and ask you where you want the images saved to.0

not always - windows may not have drivers for the camera - and if that is the case it wont be able to transfer the pictures.
You should be able to get the drivers from sony website though

and the cable may be pretty standard local PC shop or PC World/Currys/Comet may have one - take camera with you to check socketDon't try to teach a pig to sing - it wastes your time and annoys the pig0 -

You can pick up a "Card reader" in most places for £10- £15
you should not need any extra software. just plug the reader in to the USB slot on your PC then stick the card into the reader and the PC will see it as a Removable USB drive.Laters
