Booked with Ryanair some free flights. Can anyone recommend a good hotel offer. Not sure how far the airport is from Belfast or what there is to do but couldn't resist some freebies to celebrate my then completed OU degree!!!!!!!!

Which airport are you flying to?
If you are looking for something nice, the Radisson is lovely. I'm not sure how much it costs though as I have only ever been on the company account!
Well done on the degree! xGone ... or have I?0 -
Flying into Belfast City Airport. Dates have changed slightly - now arriving on 27th November for 4 nights - leaving on 4th November. Looking for anything cheap for 2 adults. Cheapest so far is Premier Inn £265 (no breakfast)!
Anyone find anything else - or would I be better waiting to see if Travelodge offer any of their £19 rooms as they are only booking until August 2008. The Radisson is lovely - but too expensive!0 -

There are several good guesthouses in the suburbs and public transport is good. Small place so easy to get around and doesn't take long travelling. It's my home city.0

George Best Belfast City airport is about 3 miles from Belfast city centre. There's a bus every 20 mins into Belfast which is £2.20 return according to the web site (personally I think thats a right wee bargain !) http://www.belfastcityairport.com/template1.asp?id=31&pid=31&parent=7
Because I live 3 miles from Belfast city centre I've not much need to stay in hotels in the city. I stayed at 'The Europa' at my employers expence a few years ago.It was really lovely, convenient etc,but probably a bit pricey for you if you want a 'good value' break.
Location wise I've always thought that Holiday Inn-Ormeau Road would be a BRILL location for visitors to Belfast-surrounded by pubs&restaurants and within an easy 5 mins walk of city centre shops,& Belfast Wheel (like London Eye)which is in the grounds of Belfast city hall. Also it's just round the corner from Storm Cinema.I tried to price it for you (for comparisons sake) but the dates you've quoted are a bit 'up the left'
.Holiday Inn express in University Street seemed good value too, but as a wimpy,40(ish !) woman, I personally dont like the location-not within walking distance of shops, and not somewhere I'd feel happy walking to late at night !It's near(ish) Queens University so there are probably loads of bars etc nearby which is probably fine for you wee young studenty types
.
Hope this helps a bit.0 -

Just realised my dates don;t make sense! Its 27th November for 4 nights, leaving 1st December! Oops, will try and see if I can get onto the Holiday Inn Website now!!!!!!!!! Thanks so much, your info is very useful. Will look at Ormeau Road, sounds ideal. Yes, the Eurpoa looks lovely but a bit expensive!0 -
