With the holiday season approaching, what about feeding pets while people are away? Or watering their gardens/tubs/hanging baskets? You'd be wandering in or around peoples houses though, so you would almost certainly need references from teachers or similar so people can be happy you are trustworthy.

You could try www.dooyoo.co.uk I make a few quid from writing reviews on here, the minimum payout is £50 but if you write 5 reviews a day you get around 50p per review so you could clear £60 per month for a couple of hours work per day.
Since when has the world of computer software design been about what people want? This is a simple question of evolution. The day is quickly coming when every knee will bow down to a silicon fist, and you will all beg your binary gods for mercy.

Like proliant says dooyoo is a good place for writing reviews. What you should also do if you are posting reviews on dooyoo is read and rate others reviews, that gets your name noticed and more people will read your reviews. Another good one is www.ciao.co.uk i write on there as well, they pay out at £5 into a bank account.

Good luck with whatever you do, it's so nice to see a young person wanting to make their own way!

Are you good with younger children? What about babysitting (if you are)?

You'd have to start with children of neighbours, your parents friends children as trust is very important. This is also something you could offer for the odd hour or so during the summer holidays so that the parents can go shopping. You might have to offer a first session (hour) with the parent there so that they know you are responsible and can brief you contacting them in an emergency.

If you enjoy board games or messy play this would be ideal and word would soon get around. Schools are increasingly employing male teaching assistants and learning mentors to give a balance.

Sorry, I don't have any ideas, but just to say I think it's great what you're trying to do. I have an 18 year old nephew who started trading on ebay with ipod cases which he had shipped over from China, made a nice sum and paid for his 1st VW car outright at 17. He is now 18 and ready to fly off to China on behalf of the governments new business initiative for 6 weeks! Good luck with it all I'm sure you'll do well.
