Terms and Conditions
1. The prize is participation in a landscape photoshoot in the Cotswolds with
photographer Mr Herbert Ypma for the winner and 1 guest of his/her choice
2. The prize includes 1 night’s accommodation in 1 room in a Hip Hotel for the winner
and his/her guest sharing.
3. The prize includes travel (method at the discretion of the Promoter) to the hotel
and location and food costs for the day of the shoot
4. Accident/travel insurance to be organised by the winner and guest and is NOT the
responsibility of the Promoter
5. The date on which the prize may be taken is subject to availability and valid until
31st December 2008
6. The prize is non-transferable and the Promoter retains the right to cancel or
change the promotion at any time and to substitute a prize of equal or higher value
7. No cash alternative can be offered
8. Entrants must be aged 18 or over and residents of the UK, Channel Islands, Isle of
Man or Republic of Ireland. The competition is not open to employees (or their
immediate families) of the Promoter, its agents or anyone professionally connected
to the promotion.
9. If the guest of the winner is under the age of 18, written consent from the guest’s
parent/guardian must be supplied to the Promoter prior to the prize being taken.
10. The shoot arrangements are the responsibility of Mr Herbert Ypma and the
Promoter shall not be liable therefore
11. The prize will be awarded to the best landscape image submitted in the opinion of
the judge Mr Herbert Ypma.
12. The Judge’s decision shall be final

15. Entries must be submitted online via the Nature Valley website

16. It is a condition of entry that every entrant by submitting a photograph or any
associated material “the Work”, agrees to all of the following: you confirm that you
are at least 18 years of age and that the Work is your own and was not created by
a professional photographer or other third party.
17. You grant the Promoter a perpetual, royalty free, sublicensable, nonexclusive,
world wide right and licence in its sole discretion, to reproduce, modify, create
derivative works from, distribute, transmit, publicly display, or otherwise use or
license the Work in whole or in part in any manner and media without restriction.
Similarly you understand and agree that the Promoter may choose not to use the
Work.
18. You agree that the Promoter, may in its sole discretion, publicly display or
otherwise use or transmit your name in conjunction with any use of the Work.
Moreover, you grant the Promoter the irrevocable permission to use and license all
and any information you submit in connection with the Work in any manner and
media without restriction.
19. You undertake that you have obtained the consent of any person identified in the
Work to their inclusion in the Work and to the reproduction and use of their image
as set out above. You agree to waive the right to be identified as the author of the
Work and waive any other moral rights in relation to the Work.
20. Closing time /date for receipt of entries is 23.59 on the 4th July 2008.
21. The winner will be notified by e-mail by 31st July 2008
22. The winner’s details (name and county) can be obtained by sending an SAE after
25th July 2008 but before 30th August to Nature Valley Photography Competition,
Attenborough Saffron, Kingsbourne House, 229-231 High Holborn, London, WV1V
7DA.
23. The winner and guest may be required to appear in reasonable publicity requested
by the Promoter.
24. The Promoter cannot be held responsible for any technical problems, including
computer problems, which prevent entry into the completion.
25. Entry instructions form part of these Terms and Conditions. By taking part in this
competition entrants are deemed to have accepted these Terms and Conditions.
