Hi Ted
Sorry
Thought it best to remove the names from the post above.
but I've made sure Admin can see your original post and can check the specifics of the problem
Next time you see a post by a user you wish to add to your ignore list, click their name in that post to view their profile. You can add them from there:
I've tried this with the name you mentioned and this method works0 -

(only having a laugh) You can't blame someone if their line doesn't enable broadband. How many surrealists does it take to change a lightbulb?

Yes although the name I mentioned wouldn't load from my User Profile when added to the ignore list from that users Profile it added perfectly. Though I can't see much of a problem in having a list of those users most ignored. It might encourage them to try harder to make a valid contribution to the site instead of littering it up with bandwidth hogging puff.sra wrote:Hi Ted

vbulletin has a printable view that can be viewed on certain forums guess it may have to be set in the vbulletin admin control of the board
it usually is viewable within /archive/index.php depending on where the vbulletin code is placed
so it may be something like
http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/forum/archive/index.php
which it isnt but maybe somebody who has access to site could try the correct path and see if its set to view ??2008 Wins Jan Jimi Hendrix Live at Monterey: The Definitive Edition on HD DVD £12.98, £10 amazon voucher, £10 amazon voucher, £10 amazon voucher,£500 love2shop voucher, £10 amazon voucher, dvd and chocolate £8.12, Portable dvd player + town called eureka boxset £126Total £687.100 -
You can get printable view from thread tools at the top of the page.
You can get archive view from Archive at the bottom of the page.
In both cases you can only view, not reply, and in the case of Archive, it displays threads in order of thread creation so it can be hard to find the thread you're interested in.0 -
I get the ignore button's function, but what's the buddy one for? I hope you don't mind me asking???May all your dots fall silently to the ground.0
