I have loads in my pavement at the front and want them squished away. Can anyone recommend a good quality one that actually works but is not too expensive?

Thank you in advance :D

    Hi kimberly,

You should get more help with this on the Greenfingered board so I'll move your thread across for you.

Go and buy generic glycosate which is the ingredient in roundup and tumble weed. Spray it on the weed leaves leave approx 10 days (it will say on the container) so the roots have taken it up then get a knife and dig the weeds out. Depending on the type of weed annual or perennial you may have to repeat the application again as perennail weeds have extensive root systems.
    I'm not cynical I'm realistic :p

(If a link I give opens pop ups I won't know I don't use windows)

Any of the DIY sheds will sell it. The cheapest will probably be their own brand, look on the label for glycosate

Sodium chlorate is good and not too expensive (I paid £6.99 for 3kg). You can get 500g pots from the poundshop at the moment.
