Nintendo ds browser - any good?

I was thinking on buying the nintendo ds lite browser for £24.99. it says you can access the internet in any wi fi hotspot. It sounds too good to be true. Does anyone have any experience of this?

Thank you, so it would be okay for checking email? Is it easy to connect and get to work?
