Flight times mean a long, long day so any recommendations for a hearty breakfast to set us up for the long day would be helpful, anything not to be missed and most importantly is there a Primark for a teen to do some shopping!
The central gardens are very similar to Princes Street gardens and the shops span 3 main areas but it doesn't have the full range as Edinburgh. John Lewis is in Southampton and there isn't a Harvey Nicks:D
I haven't sampled a breakfast in Bournemouth but have had lunches and dinner in town. There is a Slug and Lettuce on Richmond Hill which can have deals and there is Weatherspoons on the other side of the square. If you like Tapas there are two near each other on another leg of the Square. If you like Mexican, I can recommend Coriander (very similar to the one on Cockburn Street) on Richmond Hill. Aruba by the pier is lovely but pricey. There is a Harry Ramsdens near the pier too.
One place to try is Shakeaway, tucked away in Post Office Road near Richmond Hill/Old Christchurch Road - they make smoothies out of all sorts including cakes and sweeties. It originated in Bournemouth and spreading. I wouldn't be surprised if they don't reach Edinburgh soon!
The Primarks are in Boscombe and Poole which are about 2 and 4 miles away. I am so surprised Edinburgh still hasn't got one . I went to Dunfirmline and Glasgow. Boscombe is easy to get to on the bus and the Sovereign centre has more value shops and a market Thursdays and Saturdays. Christchurch Market is on Mondays.
You may find it quite warm down south in comparison. Everyone down south thinks it is like the arctic in Scotland !:DAn average day in my life:hello: :eek::mad: :coffee::coffee::coffee::T:rotfl: :rotfl:
:eek::mad: :beer:
I am no expert in property but have lived in many types of homes, in many locations and can only talk from experience.0
