First Direct 6% ISA

Options
Did anyone else get this ISA with this great interest rate until 6th october? As this date is appearing and the rate was due to drop I thought I should transfer soon. The current top ISA is 5.5% with First Direct...I know this is stupid but I presume I can't transfer into that one.Any advice?..the next 4 listed are all 5% with variable rates and different times of interest paid.....from Halifax to Bradford & Bingley...

Having gone through the guide and read the best way to stash my cash. I was thinking of paying my cash against my mortgage first before building up my savings. Any thoughts??

The problem with this is that you can't easily get access to the money if you need it - it's stuck in the equity in your home. As a rule of thumb you should have readily available cash of about 3x your monthly income as an emergency.
