0% for 12 months - For new Barclaycard customers

Hi all,
Don't know if anyone's heard about this offer..
I was in my local town centre today and there was a Barclaycard stand - Advertising 0% on BT's for 12 Months!!
But it was only for new Barclaycard customers (Which I thouth was unfair
). So when i spoke to the fella - He advised me to call Barclaycard and ask them for a new card but a 'Mastercard' - As I'm currently on Visa with Barclays
