Panasonic TZ5

I'm looking at getting a new digi cam and like the look of this Panasonic:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Panasonic-DMCTZ5-Digital-Camera-Optical/dp/B0016CNOHM/ref=pd_sbs_ce_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1211313358&sr=1-115

It's coming down in price now, being a little over £200.

I currently have this camera (nearly 3 years now):

I assume the Pansonic is miles better - I'm hoping that it will have a better picture quality. Anyone got one of these Panasonic's? Any good?

You ain't looking at a Pentax, your link is to a Pansonic Lumix TZ5.

Anywho, I've got a Panasonic TZ3 and its excellent, do you really need all those extra pixels?

Take a look at the review and sample pics here:

As has already been said, don't assume that the increased number of pixels automatically means better quality. Though the fact that you've got image stabilization on the TZ5 (which I don't believe the Olympus has?) should make a significant difference to zoomed shots in particular. The video quality will also be much better.

The main problem with the Panasonics is that they tend to produce pretty noisy images in low-light.

I've just got the TZ4 which was pricematched by dixons with egears. If you got the TZ5 price match it's 190.99. wouldn't have bought off egears themselves after looking at this site, their stuff seems to come from the States. But they do have a London address so Dixons did the price match.
Not had the camera long enough to give a verdict.
