This normally takes 2 to 4 weeks providing the supplier has stock and is able to get the goods to us in the expected time frame. At the busiest times (e.g. Christmas) it can take a little longer.
Please note: Special orders for Raynox products usually take 9 weeks.

Be careful. 10x without a tripod (on this camera) is pointless. Read up on the performance of this camera in low light e.g. indoors. Auto focus - may not.
There are reasons for the low price. Research before you buy.0 -
To be fair it's cheap enough.....big disadvantages are:
Pretty dated at 3.3 Megapixels
It's hardly compact!
I'm sure there's a lot better out there for not much more...........like ND says...do some research before you buy
Mikeif i had known then what i know now0 -
High megapixels isnt the be all and end all of camera quality ! A lot of the cheaper 5/6mp cameras are only really 3mp cameras, the rest is got from software.
The quality of the Lens / CCD (?) are much more important0 -
I bought this camera when Boots had it on special offer for pretty much the same price. It was/is a fantastic camera for an amateur like me.
The picture quality and detail are excellent.
The X10 lens allows you to take good photographs from a distance, I really was surprise at how good the lens was for distant shots.
You don't have to pay out for a tripod if you rest the camera on something!
Sorry if that sounds amateurish! Hey I'm no David Bailey, but if it ain't broken why fix it!
I've even manage to workout how to take some action shots.
If an idiot like me can work it then anyone can.
In my humble opinion....buy it, its worth the money, you won't regret it!0 -
I got a cheap Z10 for £80 when they were on offer at Boots and the picture quality blows away most point and shoot when I use it in manual mode. Agreed its hard to use the 10x zoom without a tripod, but I have just bought one from ebuyer for a mere fiver:

I too bought one of these Z1 cameras when Boots had it on offer. Fantastic camera. Very good picture quality and intuitive to use. I had used it during summer and in my hols and can't fault the camera.
Anyone thinking of buying one should do so in confidence.I have learnt that providing excellence gets you what you deserve and not what you want !!!0 -
"With a street price of under $400 at the time of this review (October 2003) and a great deal of versatility, the Minolta DiMAGE Z1 offers a good value. Usable by every member of your family, it will produce high-quality images of everything from family events, objects for sale at online auctions, and nature to sporting events. If you value a super zoom lens, efficient use of batteries, robust shooting performance, VGA-sized movies, and a powerful flash, the 3.2-megapixel 10X zoom DiMAGE Z1 would be a good choice."

One thing I must buy/make is a decent camera bean-bag though. Often a perfect substitute for a bulky tripod0 -
Thinking how to return Z10 to boots
and get this one

This offer is no longer on the Jessops website!
This camera came out in 2003 and I think has been discontinued ... it's certainly not on Minolta's current range displayed on its website.
So, however many weeks you wait, you ain't gonna get one!!!0
