Unlocking Samsung J700

I bought the above phone from Virgin Media for my daughther who at present is on PAYG. She is going soon to Australia so I would like to unlock the phone so she will be able to buy a new SIM card over there and use her phone.
Can somebody help me with this please?

Try to input the following code. I am not sure whether that works on your phone, but I know it won't hurt your mobile.

this will not work.. J700 uses new security, there are 3 ways to get it unlocked

1 get code from your operator (exspenive)
2 get it unlocked at an unlock shop
3 Unlock it yourself at www.UnlockSamsungOnline.nl (you need special unlock cable)

if you try withcodes you can whipe out our Imei number of the phone (reset eprom) and your phone will not find any network anymore.. so do not play with codes if you don't know what they do

Regeneration

If you have topped up a minimum of £30 since the phone/SIM was originally activated, then virgin will unlock it for free. If you've not yet topped up more than £30 since activation, you need to top-up to this amount. Give them a call and make sure this is still the case

Does anyone know how easy this phone is to unlock from the Orange network please? I need it to be able to accept an O2 sim card.

I like to know the same.
As I have seen this phone on a differant network, and would it like to use it with my current sim.
I have seen one phone for sale, and it is on a differant network. I have heard that network locked phone's, can be unlocked by them selves, if you have toped up so much with them.
I just wonder does any one know anything about this? Or would any one be able to tell me, if it is possiable to get unlcoked, by unlock codes (wary of them), or cable etc.
