Money in!!! Then out again

Well, got my grant and loan through today and for a whole half day I had nearly £2700 in there - woooey!!!

Then I had to go and buy a new fridge-freezer as mine is up the Swanee - popped into Co-Op and joined for a quid, saving myself 10% and free delivery - £323 gone - eeek. Paid this ½ terms childcare for No.2 son - another £300 gone.

Got home and paid off my c/cards in full - double eeek - another £1100 gone!!!

Stuck the rest in my E-Saver now to await rent bill and the rest of the childcare - sigh - easy come, easy go.

  • You have to save. If you end up spending all that money then there needs to be some drastic action or else you will be in trouble financially for the rest of the year which is not good!
  • I also take home £1450/month on top of that for day to day living.
Don't worry - I'm not going to be skint. I needed the lump sum though to pay off those debts and get the fridge.

Now I'm totally debt-free,well apart from student loan - and that's going nowhere until I graduate anyway.

Trouble is - walking into the Co-Op and there's are all these appliances, white goods etc - I was like - aaaargh - buy, buy, buy - Noooooooo - just get what I came in for. I still wondered over to the travel agent and came home with a brochure though - don't know why really - Don't have any time now to go anywhere - LOL

My Ing and Abbey E-Savers are feeling very healthy now though :D
