First thought is toilet overflow. It could also be a tank overflow from your loft. Hopefully it will mean a simple change of washer (a very cheap, and very easy job). How many surrealists does it take to change a lightbulb?

One will be the overflow from your cold water tank in the loft and one will be the overflow from your central heating top up tank.
For some reason one of the tanks is over filling.
