Student Nurses

my girlfriend has just started her student nurse training, she has been seconded by the trust that she worked for previously, her bank has told her that as she is being paid by the trust to do her training she does not qualify for a student account. Are there any banks that will offer her a student account?

Comments

  • yes it is possible - i went into my halifax branch where i have my current account just today and opened a second student account. i explained that i would be getting my full wages still, as i am also being secconded but that was fine. as long as she is enrolled as a full time student she shouldnt have a problem, the only time i couldnt get my account was when i did my bridging course which was only classed as part time. (if you know what that is)

    hope this helps.
