Afternoon everyone, and a gorgeous sunny one it is too!:j

You are such a nice bunch of people on here, it has given me such motivation when I write my lists to try to stick to them!:A

    Quiet today without you Andan!

    Today I have:

Been to Somerfield and argued over BOGOF bacon, cos they charged me full price, and when I queried it turned out it was only the 6 slice packs that were BOGOF, and I had the 8 pack ones! Got them to change them and give me the difference back!:T

Done 2 loads on 30 degrees and hung on line, good breeze for washing today.
    Update spreadsheet with spends.

Not much else today, about to go sit in the garden with latest Readitswapit book.:D

    Enjoy the sunshine everyone!

If you know anyone who shops at costco get them to pick you up a pack of their back bacon. It is a 2.5kg pack, really good quality, for a little over £7:D
I buy these and split them into packs for freezer, it averages out at about 60 slices per pack:T :T so usually beats any supermarket deal on bacon - and it is that price all the time:D

I had a stall at community day, but didn't do as well as I hoped because of where the stall was, but I went with no money and came back with some!

I got a free timer switch, which I'm going to use for my washing machine - I'm on economy seven so if I do my washing after midnight it'll be cheaper.

Will hopefully do washing after midnight (or is that for tomorrows list?!)

Trying to build up the motivation to do my toluna surveys.
Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.

    Evening all,

    My dfw things for today:
    • Done 1 load on 30 degrees and hung on line
    • brought the discounted buns for myself instead of the full price ones which I brought for my parents & sister as my mum is always so good to us
    • Packaged up 2 Ebay items sold last night which my mum kindly took to the post office for me
    • Went to visit friends and thier new baby - got card from my bargain card stash and present was a one of my Boots bargains :T
    • Sold one more Ebay item
    • Did a few piggy clicks which I have been neglecting :o
    • Used £2 in luncheon vouchers when buying DS his lunch from McDonalds
    • Brought an item for £1.50 which I may list as a BIN on Ebay for £4.99 when I come back from my holidays in Florida
    • Got a free sachet of moisturiser given to me in Boots
    • Left our parking ticket on the parking meter which still had another 15 mins left (incase it might have been good to someone :A )
    • Got my eyebrows done for £4 which included a £1 tip. Don't think I've had them tidied since January :o (I'm not any good with tidying them up and normally pay £5 to get them done)
That's all I can think of (will add when I think of more).

Just been given a big bag of ripe bananas by a neighbour to use up quickly. These are now sliced and drying out nicely in my dehydrator to make lovely dried banana chips:D much nice than shop bought ones.

Sans - Lucky you off to Florida:j when are you going??

Candy - Any progress on the job front yet??

    Hi Sophiesmum
Mmmm - dried bananas are a nice healthy snack. :T

We go to Florida on Thursday. Can't wait - could do with a break. I actually am not a fan of hot weather but I'll put up with it. ;)

Have actually been think about things I can quickly list and sell on Ebay on my return to fill the big dent I will no doubt have in my bank account. Also will make a point of buying things that are cheaper in America if I can use them as I doubt I will be desperately needing anything in particular.
