Tesco Price Scanner Location

Its a bit mad, but have now spotted ANOTHER scanner in the Meadows, Sandhurst, Berks store! That makes 3.

There is now one in the aisle where the saucepans are on one side and food processors etc on other side.

Really handy as very close to the aisles for DVD's, Games, Phones etc!

purley tesco very annoying - for months now there's only been one scanner that never works - grrrrrr...

Probably an extremely daft question to follow.

I have never used a self scanner before as I have only just started to shop at Mr T's. I've always thought a self scanner was located at the checkout for you to run through your own shopping instead of having to queue up!

However I remember spotting a supervisor scanning a price instore (not at the checkout) in Cheam (can't remember where exactly) but my question is - can anyone use these or are they only for Tesco's staff?

The self scanners we are talking about on this thread are for customer use (guess staff can use as well if they wanted).

Says summat like price check above them. They have kindly been put there by Mr T to enable people to look for R&R's

You are getting them confused with the self scan tills in some stores which is where you scan all your shopping and then pay.

No scanner at Cheam Park Farm store.

Anyone know where the scanner is at Leatherhead store?

Bristol - Brislington, both scanners have been out of action for months. (one's near the pharmacy, the other's near the booze)

Now they've been removed, just dangly wires there. Any insiders know what this means? Are they gone forever, or might they actually get fixed?

New one placed between clothes and games fairly well hidden

The scanner is mended now at Copdock Ipswich and is near the decorating stuff. The other which was by the kids clothes has vanished!
