BBC Video content not available in FF

It seems that a lot of people are having problems with the embedded video content on BBC News Website in Firefox 2. The message is that the content is not available.
The error message given is :-
Title: akamai:AkamaiServiceError.AKAMAI_API
Description: No xml returned by Akamai IDENT
Code: 5
And I've checked the versions as:-
Using Flash "You have version 9,0,124,0 installed" and Firefox 2.0.0.14.
Has anyone found a work around, as it's annoying to have to keep opening up IE to play the videos?
There's a huge amount of discussions on the problem, but so far no apparent solutions!
However, for some reason, for a week it worked, and stopped again!
Are we waiting for the BBC to get their website sorted then?

I'd do one of two things:
+ Start using FF 3 Release Candidate 2, released a couple of days back. It rocks. See http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-rc.html for more details
+ Install the extension "IE Tab" within FF2. This allows you to flick to IE within FF at the click of a button, or to always force it into IE when visiting a particular site.te audire non possum. musa sapientum fixa est in aure.0 -

That didn't work, but I already like the look of FF3!A friend is someone who understands your past, believes in your future, and accepts you just the way you are.0 -
I use Firefox and don't seem to have any problems at all.

And that did work. Many thanks for the suggestion!A friend is someone who understands your past, believes in your future, and accepts you just the way you are.0 -
I wonder if it's Real Player, as the latest version has a download option, and I am beginning to suspect that program. It's got to be a add on or program I have installed; but it's so annoying! At least the IE Tab gets round the problem for now!A friend is someone who understands your past, believes in your future, and accepts you just the way you are.0
