Buying a Printer Scanner

I am looking to buy a printer/scanner. There will be a small amount of business use, but it will mainly be home based. Speed is not too much of an issue, reliability is a bigger issue.

Where can I find advice on what features to care about, what s to look for and where to buy these items?

Advice here would be great and so would pointing to links to other parts of the web.

Before you buy, ensure that you look at the cost of cartridges for your chosen one. Some cartridges are more expensive than the actual printer :eek:

I use an epson R300 (no scanner) although initially more expensive, cartridges are dirt cheap.
