sorry if this has been posted before, checked but couldn't find anything.
In Iceland yesterday they had 4pints... 2.2 litres of milk at 2 for £2
I think Tescos are only 2 litres

our tesco express has the same deal... also 2 of the 6 pinters for £3 (usually £2.12 each)Hating Hastings Direct!0

Yep Iceland has always been the best place to get your milk!
They used to be £1 per 4 pint container but prices rose recently to summat like £1.15 per 4 pinter.
There is a current deal to buy 2 x 4 pints for £2 which obviously equates back down to £1 per 4 pint container!
I just begin to wonder whether I really need to buy 8 pints of milk at once - and the that 2 x 6 pint deal would surely only benefit a large family?
PS Do people really freeze their milk and is it ok to do so?:: Lee ::0 -

asda also has the 2 four pints for £2 and the two 6 pints for £3 at the moment.0

Sorry 4 pints = 2.272 liters my BIG mistake0

There is a milk war at the moment it is 2 for £2 at Asda but at the moment cheapest is Morrisons with 2 for £1.99
AND NO whitesofmyeyes,
4 pints = 2.27 litres, so the 4 pint bottles the main supermarkets and Iceland sell are bigger than the 2 litre offerings.

I have started buying tons of milk and freezing it, brilliant at £3 for 2 lots of 6 pints, lets hope it lasts (the offer, not the frozen milk!)0
