MP3 Player - Advice Please

Hi guys

Looking to get my g/f an MP3 Player for her journey to work but not sure how much I should be spending for say a 256 / 512 or 1GB player.

She might not use it all the time so I don't want to spend a fortune but any advice on make / model / cheapest prices would be most appreciated.

1GB, great features, colour screen, and less than £70 on eBay.

But you certainly shouldn't be spending more than £100 on a 1GB model, especially if it doesn't have the features of this one. You can get one with a mono screen and less features for a lot cheaper I'd have though. If you find one that takes SD cards, and is fairly cheap, you can expand it by an extra gigabyte for about £30.

Just bought the missus a rio carbon from pc world for £99 - tiny, suitably girly, 20 hours battery life and 5GB storage - it's a bit small for my big clumsy hands but she loves it

Thanks guys - probably looking around £50 tops though so just a cheapie player maybe with fm radio will be good enough.

256 or 512 should be more than enough anyway but wanted to see the price differences.
