barbados surprise ideas

We're going on honeymoon in 12 days and i'm stuck for surprise ideas! I promised my OH 3 surprises for the wedding.. i've got the first 2 sorted but i want one for honeymoon.

We're going to Barbados for a week (then a cruise for a week).. i'd like something for barbados. I'd considered taking her for dinner at Sandy Lane or The Cliff.. but they look over-rated and the reviews seem to agree.

Anyone been before? I need ideas!! Any really good tours or things to do?

'little England' as its known is a very lovely place. went there for over a week last year and would love to go again.

harrison cave, submarine ride, north point(lovely veiw) and not forgetting the recently opened(last april) concorde museum next to grantly adams airport.

oh yeah and not forgetting the white sandy beaches and clean crisp water.

the locals are very friendly and dont forget to try delicious flying fish and grilled fish.

  • Anything specific I could book or pre-arrange? She's not keen on the sub much :) I quite fancy an offroad tour of the island

car hire is available but the roads are cracked and bumpy in certain areas of the island.

i have family there so they did all my bookings and travel.
i reckon the hotel that your staying might be able to arrange the tours etc.

    Heli tour of island?

    Horse racing at Garrison Savannah?

Day trip to another island? Better arranged when you're there with a local travel agent - by air. You'll probably get one of those little 8 seater island-hopping planes.

    What's your budget?
