CTC Reduced to £7???

Hi All, just checked my bank statement and CTC has gone in at £7.71. We're only entitled to the basic element which increased last year to the higher rate as we had our twins. I expected it to go back down to the £10 odd a week from now on. How can it be £7.71? Too late to call them now but will call in the morning. Haven't had my renewal pack yet so will ask about that. Never been overpaid or anything so have no idea where the £7.71 came from..

Anyone got any ideas?...

Did you get this on your usual payment date? Sometimes tax credits enter one off payments in addition to your actual one to balance the account.
