I had trouble with the dstt as well. The Edge is much better and takes up to 8Gig stick

Just a quick update for anyone purchasing these, there are hundreds of fakes around of the R4DS - so if the price is low be cautious:

As a matter of fact, the latest firmware version 1.18 or the updated firmware downloaded from official webiste www.r4ds.com can not be used on the copied R4DS version/ R4 version, changed from N5 card/ R4DS II version/ updated R4DS version, which only can be used on the original R4DS got from the factory. A lot of problems will come out when you use all the copied R4DS.

I am so glad that I got mine from where I did, as it works a treat!!

Sorry I find this a bit confusing. Are you saying that the N5 card is a copy of the R4? This card has its own firmware and I would advise all to stay away from this one as they don't seem very reliable they stick on loading page and have a soft reset problem. I have had no problems with the TTDS or DSTT (both the same) or the R4 version 2.

The CycloDS Evolution is the best cart available for the DS, may be a couple more £ but the other carts don't compare with quality, service and longevity.
