air bubbles appearing on newly painted walls

HELP! Bubbles have started appearing on my seating room walls. They are like raised bubbles that can be pushed/popped when pressed. There are also what can only be described as paint lesions appearing also and a couple of tiny hairline holes forming.

The decorators only left on Wednesday evening!

Dulux paint was used throughout

this happened to us in our bedroom where there had previously been a border - not sure if it was a reaction with the border paste or something?? definately get them back out to fix it!

You do not say what surface the paint was applied to, if it is new plaster this can happen if the plaster has not been sealed. If this is the case I would leave it a while to see in any more blistering occurs scrape the loose paint off apply plaster sealer leave to dry and then repaint. That should do it.

Dont worry, its the paint pulling it off, leave it dry and all will be good.. :)

If painting on wall paper you can sometimes get bubbles too.

It is paint on paint, we last decorated 5 yrs ago, no wallpaper and no plastering was done. They filled a few holes and dents with filler but nothing major was done to the was apart from this.

So, should I be calling the decorators back in?
