Can anyone recommend some good, reasonably priced Double Layer Recordable DVDs please?
I recently bought the Planet Earth box set at a very good price. The disks play great on my pc but I would like to watch them on my Playstation 3 connected to my TV. Each episode is about 7GB so should fit on a Double Layer DVD after conversion with TSMuxeR.

Ah, I see. Dual layer DVDs are very pricey.
Instead of going to all that effort and expense, I'd just buy the boxset on DVD; it's only £17.99 on Amazon.0 -
If you do need DL DVD blanks I use the Pia-Data disks from SVP -cost 50-55p each in a cake-box of 25 -- Your DVD recorder needs to be realatively new model -- I've used about 50 so far and NO "Coasters" -- Dave

I've had success with Traxdata ones, again from SVP. A while since I bought any but they were pricey compared to normal blank DVDs, about 80-90p each I think. These are the ones but they're currently out of stock. It's my problem, it's my problem
If I feel the need to hide
And it's my problem if I have no friends

so its possible to copy hd dvd disc then? i just thought as hd dvd and even blu ray hold more information that the discs were designed differently?
most people recomend verbatim but if you want a low price you will have to go for one of the dodgy brands. double layer disc and cheap dont seem to go together.0 -
I also use Verbatims. They are by far the best... although I may have to try the Pidata ones as they seem a good price!0
