New cooker

At present we have have a built-in dual fuel single cooker. Next year we're planning on getting a nice, new shiny cooker. I've been looking at getting a freestanding one instead as there seems to be much more choice and I would like a double oven. How easy would it be to install a freestanding one instead as bits of the worktop would need to be cut/removed?

 I think you are mistaken. For separate built-in hobs and ovens you have more flexibility, and choice is much better than for free-standing cookers, although free-standing cookers are cheaper than a set of equivalent built-in hob and ovenspeedy_gonzalez wrote:...I've been looking at getting a freestanding one instead as there seems to be much more choice
You can find dozens of built-in double ovens....and I would like a double oven
Quite easy, but if you have laminate worktope you shoud saw it very carefully with fine saw and then seal edges with special laminate edge strips. How easy would it be to install a freestanding one instead as bits of the worktop would need to be cut/removed?0 -
Apologies for upsetting you. I didn't know you could mix and match hobs and ovens.0
