Your very unlucky or your car is unreliable.
I fill up 5 times a week at a tesco and in 4 years I've had no problems.
Petrol prices coming down :rotfl: We are still cheaper than France!0 -

I used to use Tesco's, but found that I get 2-3MPG more from Esso, even though it is 1ppl dearer. So cheap isn't always best!A friend is someone who understands your past, believes in your future, and accepts you just the way you are.0 -
I drive past Tesco, I stop and fill up.
Plus with Clubcard deals, each litre of fuel gives 4p back.0 -
The Shell garage is the same as or cheaper than the supermarkets round here.0

fourcourts of shell
Shell have a lot more than four courts!I used to think that good grammar is important, but now I know that good wine is importanter.0 -
I'm in the Bournemouth area paying as much as £1.22 per litre. I used to get 30mpg, in the last year or so roughly a quarter of my fuel tank range has disappeared.
THE IDEA, I have seen a group on Facebook about it, its a simple concept, but unfortunately not well enough executed or advertised etc.
IF EVERY ONE BOYCOTTS THE TWO HIGHEST EARNING PETROL STATIONS FOR 6 MONTHS, NAMELY BP AND ESSO, THEN THEY WILL HAVE TO CUT THEIR PRICES.
I think this is a great idea as well as highly executable. But people will need to take it seriously which is what is lacking currently.
Any thoughts?0 -

OK Dave,
You live in Bournemouth. Your nearest refinery is Esso Fawley near Southampton. Fawley are likely to supply the vast majority of petrol retailers in your area through reciprocal agreements - whether they are Shells, BPs, Essos, Tesco, Sainsburys etc.
So you and your mates decide to boycott BP & Esso whom you purchases 10,000 litres a year. Which means you go to the Shell, Tesco, Sainsburys, Asda for your 10,000 litres of fuel. So all Esso at Fawley will do is to send the tankers to the competitors that you are using. Net result: the independent BPs & Essos close down and local prices rise, and Esso at Fawley still sell the same amount despite your protest. The man without a signature.0 -
