Hi all
I am in the middle of installing Windows Xp Service Pack 3 and have got to the installation wizard which is advising me to back up my system and close all programs before I install it.
I'm not sure what or how I should back up my system?
Can anyone help? - Thanks!

What would you miss if/when this upgrade goes tit's up? Backup anything that is important to you e.g. anything that you would miss if your PC never boots up again! See the backup sticky. Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0

Thanks!
I was a bit confused! (not hard!:D).
I thought it meant to actually back up the some technical part of the computer "system" somehow......???
I will just do my photos and documents and chance it then.0 -

are you sure you actually need sp3?, most computers have automatic updates switched on and these updates will already have been doneclick here to achieve nothing!0
