canon printer- I need an adapter for my xd card but hwhere do I find one??

Instructions say I need an adapter for my xd card - so I can put card straight in to printer. The end result is I can print without using my computer. I've no idea what I need or where to look. Can anyone help me please??

I think the answer is probably to leave the card in your camera and plug the camera into the printer (I assume they both are pict bridge compatable)I'm Glad to be here... At my age I'm glad to be anywhere!!
