im soon to be buying a new laptop and wondered if i can plug it into my Samsung LCD TV (HD ready), to save me buying a larger TFT monitor as well?
If i can what lead will i need, what connection on laptop and will the LCD TV image be as good as a TFT moitor of same size?

You should just need a DVI to HDMI cable. As for resolutions, if your TV's full HD i.e. 1080p then you can set your laptop to up to 1920 x 1080. (make sure you check that your video out's DVI and not mini-DVI)
Obviously that's just the image though, any sound will still come out of the laptop.0 -
would it be a better idea to get a decent 19" or 21" tft monitor do you think?
how would a monitor connect to the laptop?0
