To fit a shower screen, I had to remove the towel rail. However, we'd like to keep the towel rail so I'm looking for the best/easiest way to shorten it.
It's a single rod with threads at either end onto which small metal ball screw on once it's slipped into the 2 holders. I could saw one end of but then how do I re-attach the ball? Do you get tools that can re-create the threads so that I can screw the ball back on?
