Alert - Scottish power customers
I've just noticed that Scottish Power have changed my package from 'Online Energy Saver 2' which I signed up for last year to 'Internet Dual Fuel'. This was done without any prior notification and when I called to complain they simply said that the Energy Saver 2 package has been discontinued. This happened on 20th May.
Surprise, surprise the new deal is more expensive and I will switching as soon as I can find a better deal.
If you are a SP customer I suggest that you check which package you are paying for - it could be different to the one you signed up to.
Please let me know if you have had the same experience....

I would have thought existing customers on a package continue on it, or at least get a letter notifying that the package will be withdrawn. Utility companies just seem to do as they please these days.0

Online Energy Saver 2 and the standard internet dual fuel offering were the same price .. they were brought in line a while back (can't remember the exact date but it was around aboout the Price change earlier this year). Since there was no change in price there is no obligation to notify, and I believe the T&C did state the end date.
