in Credit cards
I would like to pick the brains of you guys to help me reduce my credit cards if I may?
Egg - £0 and a limit of £8,600.
Capital One - £8,093.97 limit of £10,300 Interest is 3.9% for life of however I transferred roughly £,2000 after the intro period. Life interest last month was £21 other rate was 12.5% with last months interest at £19.59.
Tesco - £5,549.54 (£5,600 limit) 7.9% for life of balance.
Morgan Stanley - £2,484.27 (£2,700 limit) Not sure on APR but last months interest was £12.25.
As I buggered up my Capital One Life Rate do you think it would be worth phoning them and saying that I am going to transfer all to Egg unless they can offer me a better rate (on the money I buggered up) and another £2000 up to my limit from another card, as long as the APR is better??
Does this make sense? Sorry, all these figures hurt!

Your going to threaten Cap One that you'll move around £8K from 3.9% LOB & 12.5% to Egg at 15.9%.

A quick fix, while you take stock, might be your Egg anniversary. When is it?0 -
Yeah only threaten but not go through with it if they can't offer me anything!
Egg date was 3 months ago!0
